MEGA GENIUS'® QUALIFICATIONS: CONTINUED

Mega Genius'® put his cognitive abilities to the supreme test, when he permitted his level of intellectual functioning to be officially evaluated, by means of the Wechsler-Revised IQ test, by Robert M. Brook, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, Diplomate, Neuropsychology, at the Assessment & Psychological Consultation Center, in Santa Monica, California.

As documented by Dr. Brook, "The evaluation session extended for two hours of face-to-face contact and no rest breaks were taken," [as Mega Genius® did not need them].  According to Dr. Brook, the results of the Wechsler IQ test reflected that Mega Genius'® overall level of intellectual performance is, at least "...in the higher range of 'Very Superior' functioning [the highest category of intelligence]," impacting the uppermost limit of that scale.

If you are particularly technically oriented regarding IQ testing, Mega Genius'® level of intelligence is certified by Dr. Brook as "greater than 3 standard deviations above the mean," which is the highest that any standard "face-to-face" IQ test of the twenty-first century can accurately measure.

Mega Genius'® level of intelligence also equates to an IQ score that approximates 200 on the Cattell IQ test (as high as that test can accurately measure) and a perfect score of 2400 on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SATs) and 36 on the American College Test (ACT)..

In brief, the intelligence level of Mega Genius® "collides" with the top of the IQ scale and continues to "some unknown and immeasurable point."

The world's largest association for the highly intelligent is Mensa, "the high-IQ society," which maintains an eligibility requirement of a score on a supervised standard IQ test that is greater than that attainable by 98 percent of the general population. (This equates to an IQ of about 130.)

A much more restrictive society is Intertel (the International Legion of Intelligence), which upholds a membership criterion of the 99 percentile. (A percentile score of 50 represents the average person's IQ.) Accordingly, Intertel is twice as selective as Mensa.

A still more discriminating organization is The Triple Nine Society, which requires a proven intelligence level equivalent to the 99.9 percentile (upper one-tenth of one percent) of the population. Consequently, this organization is 20 times as selective as Mensa. Its worldwide membership was recently listed at about 350.

Mega Genius® has enjoyed memberships in all those high-IQ societies, and in others even much more restrictive.  He believes they all have worthwhile purposes and dedicated staffs, whom he sincerely respects.

Nevertheless, Mega Genius® is the only person who ever resigned from every major high-IQ society in the world because none was able to provide him with a sufficient degree of intellectual stimulation.

Mega Genius® marches to a tempo of his own composition.
